Denver Nuggets guard Gary Harris is expected to need three to four weeks to rehabilitate a right hip injury, league sources told ESPN.
Veteran Nuggets forward Paul Millsap suffered a broken toe in Friday night’s loss at Charlotte, sources tell ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. It’s the latest in a string of injuries for Denver, which is atop the Western Conference.
He was injured in Monday’s victory over the Toronto Raptors, leaving the game late in the first quarter.
Harris, 24, had missed two games with a sore left ankle last week. Guard Malik Beasley has been afforded extended minutes in Harris’ absence, averaging 12.4 points and 3.4 rebounds over the past five games.
Harris is averaging 16.6 points per game on 44 percent shooting for the Nuggets this season.
